Really cool abstract art- Melted crayons

v

Color in its simplest form

The photograph above is free for anyone to use for any purpose. It's simply melted crayon. Abstract art comes in all shapes and sizes. This is a fun project, but obviously you must be very careful when heating the crayon. Crayon art doesn't always mean drawing within the lines. Anyone under 18 should have close adult supervision.

**Not sure if there are any harmful fumes, It didn't seem to have any. I recommend having really good ventilation.

The possibilities are endless. Mix multiple colors at once for magnificent swirls and natural flow of colors, or keep the colors alike and create depth between contrasting colors. Art if fun for the whole family. It can help bring out the best in life.

Families that want to find fun art projects, and learn creative artistic tricks can find tons of great art blogs and instructional videos online.

I don't know how long something like this will last but am hoping several coatings will help preserve it. I think art for kids especially is so incredibly important. Their minds need a creative outlet in which they can explore their own mind, bending reasoning and ideas through visual artwork.

Here is a cool video I found, I never thought of a glue gun to melt crayons! I guess I'm not the only crayon melter out there! ha!!
